Jay, Given your diagnoses of aspergers and AHDD, I wonder if you have tried expressing some of your feelings with sensory poetry? It may help you get a handle on imagery as well. If you don't know, the usual form for sensory poetry (it may be called something else) is this, 1. Choose A Topic. 2. Tell what colour the topic is. 3. Tell what sound the topic has. 4. Tell what taste the topic has. 5. Tell what smell the topic has. 6. Tell what the topic looks like. 7. Tell what the topic makes you feel. As a working example, here is one that I wrote for a blog prompt the other night. The blog prompt was "Cyber Thoughts". My cyber thoughts are yellowing, They sound like a labor of love, They taste like the spoiled fruits of hard labour, They smell like the gentle frying of dust. My cyber thoughts look like they're waning, Feels like it's time for that new PC. 11111111 11111111 1111111111 1111111111 111111111 111111111 --- SteamPunk Newsletter Out Now!
