I got my love for literature from mom, although she doesn't write any more and hasn't for I think twenty years, she used to back in her youth, both poetry and stories and now I do that .
That is amazing, a story your dad wrote and it was a play in your school! Proud moment! I have never attended any poetry class but I have been writing it since I was in grade six and I just let it flow, at that time I didn't even know what a stanza, rhythm, rhyme, syllable was and yet I was writing poetry . As time passed, I learned of new poetry forms and played with some too! This has also given me a good idea to experiment with poetry this summer in my holidays, thanks for that!
