Hello there,

I've just joined up and I'm jumping straight in with a piece of writing already - is that wise? Is that what everyone else does? It seemed to me to be the logical thing to do. If you get a chance, please have a read - it's a short retelling of the Goldilocks story. Do you smell a Creative Writing assignment topic there? You'd be right. I am studying Creative Writing part-time and it's the highlight of my week. I hadn't written anything creative since I left high school and that was about 25 years ago so I decided to give it a go and either embarrass myself and crawl back into my non-creative hole, or find out that there was something worth pursuing there. There's a big middle ground there and I'm happy with my progress so far. I would love to hear what you think of my first submission here and if you have any advice for how to improve or how to get the best out of this website.
I am a friendly sort so say hello and I'll chat away!

Thank you.
