Hello D. Reed Whittaker and welcome to Writing.Com. As for genres here all I can say that we have 'adult' and 'young adult' which makes the difference in writing of course. Within static item you have option to add three genres that describe your content, so you said the closest you got is romance/love and you won't be wrong if you add 'adult' genre to it as well.

I'm guessing that your 'older adult' is writing.com's 'adult' and I'm not sure that your request will be proceed. However, wait for the reply of a moderator or even staff member. This is basically my observation of your suggestion *Smile*.
