Noticing Newbies

Welcome, Penny! I also mainly write YA, and I absolutely love it. All my stories take place in one huge fantasy universe, but my focus is usually more on the connections between characters and their emotions than the fantasy stuff. I self-published my first book last year, and I'm working on avidly on the next (three) now. Still trying to get my head around the idea of marketing, but if you need advice on any of the other aspects of self-publishing, I'd be happy to help. I also do have some songs and poems posted, but I've never been as good with judging that kind of writing.
