Noticing Newbies

Hello Alanna Fitzgerald and welcome to Writing.Com. Congrats on your published work Being a nurse in hospice for certainly is a job that you can write about a lot and I'm sure that it will be an interesting reading. I'm glad you have found us here and I know that you will improve your writing skills if you get involve into community. Last month I was working on my 'based on a true story' during NaNo and I have participated in "Invalid Item"  which helped me to stay on the road. If you stick around till the next round maybe you can participate with your own.

One way of improving your writing is reading and reviewing the other authors here. On your left side in your portfolio you will see browse by type, browse by genre tab. If you click on them it will show up all writing from various genres. I'm not sure which genre you like to write about. I visited your portfolio and saw that you didn't fill up your biography. It would be awesome if you can add a little info about yourself and your writing so, when someone run into your port, he will know what you usually write about. Most of the people connect that way here. Anyway, welcome again and I hope you will enjoy exploring .
