OK. That was such a shift in gears, I think I might have given myself whiplash.
Going from mytho-historical fantasy (I do love my pretentious name for what I write) to a re-write of Shakespeare with no fantastical elements? Difficult, to say the least. And I seem to have forgotten all my Shakespeare references. I should have spent the day watching some Branagh!
But, despite the fact that I think I might have typed Moira for Juliet a couple of times (stupid muscle memory on the fingers), I managed to crank out almost 1900 words my first writing sesh and it's all damned usable. I totally broke the rule about editing to fix that Moira/Juliet thing, though. I couldn't let that stand, Juliet and Moira aren't similar...at all. In fact, I think Juliet might eat early Moira alive. Later Moira? Probably not.
Anyway, best of luck to everyone in NaNo! If anyone else does the up-until-ridiculous-hours thing, I am here for distraction/human interaction (you know...21st century, from-behind-a-computer-screen style).
