I've prepped to chapter 16. My youngest daughter just turned 15 yesterday. She wanted a D&D starter kit for her birthday. So that is what we got her. I have at least another 14 chapters to prep and I have to go to the laundry mat to get Clanbear's work close done for the week. I am not doing that on Sunday. I'm just not. He says he will go without me but as soon as I let him something will come home pink that wasn't before.
I've never played D&D so I will be taking all the little books that came with it to study and learn what I am doing so I can be their Dungeon Master. There is no way I can take the bickering that will end up happening if one of the kids does it. They know that come 11:55 Mom will leave them to start prepping. In there some where I have to find the time to take a nap and bake peanut butter cookies.
Am I panicking? No. This is my 11th Nano. I'm not worried about hitting 50k in a month. I am worried about trying to hit it on day one. Does that idea send a panic through me? Absolutely.
