October Novel Prep Challenge

OK. Lemme tell you the saga of this contest entry.

You see, for the two of you who do not know my situation, I am not using the novel I'm prepping this month for NaNo. (I can just hear the groans in the background for the rest of you, lol.) But, for all the times I've mentioned it this month, I COMPLETELY forgot this fact when I was trying to figure out what to write for this contest. I'm over here going, "What the heck can I write for this contest?! Do I have to go all the way back to 'In the Beginning'?! Moira's Awakening isn't enough for the whole story...Philo's fever won't cut it...Maybe a story of why the Goddess gave Gifts to her people? Man, I really have to write about God's murder! It sets up the whole story! But I can't write something in the story! That'll take away from my word count next month!"

Yeah, dumb dumb over here completely forgot that....I can write anything I want, because I'm--again--not working on this thing next month. Talk about a smack-to-the-forehead moment, lol.

So I did it! Of course...turns out I don't want to use it for the actual novel anyway, but I did it! YAY me!
