Platform Construction
by Noyoki Author IconMail Icon
Something that's come up often in my reading and research into writing is the need for a Platform.

I'm not the person to explain or push this since I have almost no platform to speak of, but I thought I'd take a moment to bring it up. Social media is the life blood of platform building, I've learned.

So, in an effort to begin building my very own platform, I've become active on Twitter. And since I want to grow my little patch of social media landscape, here it is: https://twitter.com/00Kit00

Follow me if you want to watch my delightful fumbling attempts at gaining followers. I have 27. WOOOO. That's the most I've ever had. You see, I've had this idea before, so I got my account like five or six years ago and never used it. My followers have always numbered in the teens.

The goal is to gain a following, so I've started tweeting more. One of the things I'm doing is offering writing tips using the hash tag #RightTip.

This Podcast helped me think about Twitter in a new way and inspired me on this little side adventure. Hopefully it'll help some of you as well:
