First of all, I think it is super cool when I am reading a book and I actually read about the state I live in and towns I know of and have even been to.
Second, I myself will be using a "real" setting for my NaNo novel. however, I will not use a real business name, just to cover my own behind. More on this next.
Third, I want to just offer a few words of caution when doing so. Street names are no biggie really, just make sure if it is a residence, that house number does not actually exist. The easy answer here is to just not use house numbers. Also I truly think it is great to name real places of business as long as whatever you have to say about the business in the story doesn't reflect poorly on the real business. That might cause you some trouble. However, if it reflects well on the business, they would most likely be thrilled to see the honorable mention in your novel. So just use very good judgement here. I think it may be a good idea to contact the business and ask if they are okay with it, if you are in doubt.
