Noticing Newbies

Hi!

My name's Lisa. I'm over thirty and married with a three year old boy named Lincoln. I read. A lot. Always have, my family used to tease me because we'd go on vacation and everyone would be playing volleyball or swimming and I'd be curled up with a book. I go through genre phases but anything paranormal is always good. Typically I read a normal length novel in two days.

I'm pretty shy, which is funny because my job is HR related and all I do is talk to people all day everyday. I'm a dreamer and so I've been writing since fourth grade but until now I've never shared with anyone except teachers, family, and friends. The last 18 months or so I've gone from writing occasionally, mostly poetry and short stories, to writing every day working on full length books. It all started with one idea that just possessed me and I wrote nearly 90,000 words in three weeks. With a two year old and a full time job.

I'm looking to improve, as I'm sure everyone is, and meet people to help me do just that.
