I would expect the same problem, but for me, the "Mothership" in Dallas, (the headquarters of Half Price Books, a ginormous facility which includes a store five times bigger than any other HPB I've seen) is the best place for me to go. The cafe area has lots of chairs and tables with other people reading and conversing. All that literary energy just seems to drive me forward.
