Well, the project--Killing Mercutio (provided Bill O'Reilly doesn't sue for stealing his schtick)--is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, but as a sort of spy caper type thing. The events of the play are basically the, uh, cover for what's really going on with these characters. Because of that, I don't really want anything too revealing about the plot, you know? So I was envisioning a peacock feather (they've got symbolic value in the story), a dagger (somewhat Medieval-looking, but not too ornate), and blood. Maybe the feather and dagger are crossed, like they're clashing...or maybe the dagger is stabbing the feather? I dunno. Also, I don't know what to put into the background, but I don't think it should be white; the story is all about secrets and lies and shadows. So, like, I've got these elements, but I can't figure out the way they should go together...Put Tchaikovsky's R&J in front of me and I can play it (well, the cello part), but ask me to design something visual? No way.
