I have loved having "permission" to work on my story for November this early and often. I could probably do most of this on my own, except that I would just skip the parts I found difficult, even if they are important ones to my story.

The hardest assignments for me have been the contest entry and the query letter because I kicked my inner editor out months ago to work on a different rough draft. I have trouble asking them to help edit and then shutting them back up when I'm done with them. I have different modes for first draft writing, editing/polishing, and marketing/selling and I find it disorienting to switch between them frequently.
