Hi, Patrece
I attended a seminar on building a writer's platform. The instructor said that an author needed to build a platform, identify her writing style, even before publishing a book. But what of those of us who write in more than one genre, or write both poetry and fiction? How to establish a fixed platform when we haven't defined a niche?
Do we have to paint ourselves into a corner? I see writing as coloring outside the lines, crossing borders.
Thoughts - how to build a platform outside the lines ???
