shall not be lisiting an archive of submissions ... which set the pace for this contest since 2009, a mere four years ago, although WInning Stories are currently carried.

The listed stories, and winning stories often appear in this forum. Oh, hell, let's just say someplace.

Whenever an author of the fiction piece decides to close the item to the public or eliminate same, as we all are quite aware there then appears ... those teasing words ... 'invalid item.' To circumvent this fuss, contest judges could simply type out the title next to the bitem #.

Easy to say, but usually the last thing on one's mind when running the show. You see?

YES! OH YES! There is indeed an archive of past stories. All from http://www.writing.com
authors. Also, if serious writers are into submitting seasonal stories for publication elsewhere (besides this reading-writing website, WDC) .. they already know the piece must be signed, sealed, delivered way before the DEC for Xmas, Oct for Halloween. You see?

Contention remains that both EVERYONE CONTESTS allow for practicing this art for serious, timely authors whom might wish to savor the story itself for future modes of publication. Right?

Okay, so feel free and enjoy your visit to:

The above underwent an "invalid item" edit last year. Tedious, mess around, frustration looms but IF presenting a list of stories with a sum, one learns from mistakes. Namely --- ALWAYS type in the title.
Amen.

Alas, best boost this contest forum while October adds flair to the mood of fiction writers. Poo. poo, already seven days late.
