This year daylight savings time ensures that we will all get an extra hour to celebrate Halloween. Pretty sweet, right? Well let's take things one step further. To go along with our extra hour of fright-night, this round will be an extended two month round! (I know I do those quite a bit, but this time it's intentional.) Yay!

New Prompt: Write a story featuring everyone's favorite holiday, Halloween! The story could involve anything really. There could be ghosts, goblins, a religious cult, a coven of witches, a sinister scarecrow, a horrifying demon, or even just a questionable jack-o-lantern. Write whatever you'd like, just make sure the story takes place on All Hallows Eve.

As an added incentive and to celebrate my favorite holiday of the year, I'm adding one more prize to the pool for this round: Judge's choice! The lucky winner of this prize will receive a special Awardicon (or gp equivalent), a special MB, and 10,000 gps. Woo! Here's the catch: this prize will not be decided by me, but will instead be chosen by a secret panel of members on WDC. (Don't worry, the secret society will only remain a secret until the prizes are announced. Then you may all politely stalk them to find out why they didn't pick your story. Covertly, of course.) So theoretically, you could win both Second Place and Judge's Choice. Or First Place and Judge's Choice. Or you could not place at all, but still win Judge's Choice. Exciting, right? Right.

But that's not all - In addition to this fourth prize, I am also upping the prizes for the other three spots. So on top of the prizes already offered, everyone who places will also win some sweet Gps. Everyone loves Gps.

Stop the madness, you say? Never.

I will also be offering a MB to whoever donates a mere 20k Gps to PAT for this round only. What! Really? Yes, really. Am I insane? It's certainly possible.
