The 3rd book of my trilogy has a premise of its own, but it does tie up the loose ends of the story. Although I think I need to rewrite the entire thing. Meh. Anyway, I think it's important for the stories to feel connected, but at the same time to have something new and fresh in the 3rd book, so it doesn't JUST feel like tying up loose ends.
