Noticing Newbies

Welcome! I'm completely new to the site, but I hope we'll both enjoy our time here! I also write a lot about my own experiences, particularly in my Magic Inc. series. And I always write with heart and soul. I put so much of myself into my stories that I get drained if I work for too long on emotional scenes. So, I have to take lots of breaks. I don't know if that happens with you, working with dark stuff. My friend, Christen, is working on a very dark novel. Too dark for me; I'm pretty sensitive to blood and gore. She's a great writer, though, and I hope she finishes it soon. She's been editing it for some time, though she also has an amazing little boy to take care of and a normal job, unlike me. But anyhow, thanks for reviewing some of my stuff. :)
