Noticing Newbies

Hello Jaime Gray and welcome to Writing.Com. As Aisha mentioned above you would maybe want to check basic guide and instructions of how to navigate this site by reading "Writing.Com 101"  basic guidance.
There's a lot of writers of all kind in this site and most of them like to write poetry. What kind of poetry do you like to write about? Which genre is your favorite one? We have a lot of activities and contests on poetry and maybe you can join some of them, expand you writing, share opinions and maybe learn from the others?
I love traveling as well, mostly because it's part of my job, I'm working on the ship and I write.
