Don't worry about your work being finished. This site is about learning and growing. That said, everyone will really appreciate it if you give your work a thorough edit before you post it. (It sounds like you understand how tiring proofreading can be.)

Regarding works in progress, no problem! You can post a note in the introduction to your story or within the story itself telling your readers that you're still working on it. They might even give you suggestions on how to finish it.
