Finding a balance can be hard, and I'm right there with you!

You've come to the right place! I've learned so much about writing since joining WDC and have met a lot of really wonderful, friendly, and supportive people. This place can be confusing and overwhelming at first, so don't be afraid to ask questions. No question is stupid...and I find I learn something new here almost daily.

A couple really great newbie forums are "The Newbies Academy Group"  and "Newbies Academy Registration - OPEN"  where you can chat with other newbies (and not-so-newbies) and learn a little more about how to navigate WDC.

There are always fun things to do around here, and lot of ways to work on your writing (contests, writing prompts, challenges). And, of course, feedback!I've learned the most through reviewing other people's work - I find things I can apply to my own writing and I've forged relationships with other writers though talking specifics about our stories.
