I'm a pantser too. In fact, I struggle with the outlines in this challenge every year cause I could be done in just 2 drafts, max. I don't even need that and some years, when I'm writing, I never glance at the outline or prep once. But having worked on it for a month before doing by the seat of my pants writing is very helpful.
