Noticing Newbies

Welcome to the world of forum posting on Writing.com, TripleC .

When I was younger (not that I am old) I was extremely shy. I was so shy that I wrote about 300,000 words over the course of a few years, alone in my bedroom, before anyone even knew I was interested in writing or reading. Once that shell cracked a little bit, I began to receive sincere feedback from friends and family...then eventually online strangers - and that was all it took for me to break it. Now I have this page here at WDC, I have my own website/blog with over 200 unique followers (and climbing) and it's awesome!
My point - fight the urge to keep it to yourself. There are treasures hiding all over the place out there on this ride of life.
