Newsletter comments
I think it would be good if the site newsletters had blog like commenting on them. At the moment a comment made doesn't show until the next newsletter by that editor. By that time many comments may have lost their impact. I think a comment system like that on blog items would allow better interaction between the editor and the reader. It would also allow readers of the newsletter to continue the discussion of the subject between themselves.

I'm not sure how it would work in the emails, though. I guess there are examples of interactive emails on WdC. For instance the review emails have a text box for responding. And with the {insert:1234567} tag you can change the content of emails by altering the item in your port (which is useful for keeping navigation links up to date).

Would this be something that could be possible?
