Noticing Newbies

Hi Everyone!

My pen name is Blacpoet, I am a newbie but I have been on and off the site for some years now, and had to create a new account after my existing account became dormant.

I am a medical doctor, and am into Preventive Health in Nigeria. Most of the time, things get so busy, that its easy to overlook the other things I love e.g writing. I do believe that it's important to express ones talents, and to make time to improve. That I hope to achieve through this forum and writing.com

I usually write poetry, and some other forms of writing; maybe someday I will consider writing a book! A colleague of mine recently released his book, and I am inspired now to build myself to that level and even more. That is why I believe a forum like this can help us to challenge each other, to be what we can be, to stretch our minds, and even if we cant reach the stars ; we can aspire to rise to a better state. Most important of all, that we persist , and improve our writing from what it once was.
