A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
Welcome Once In a Red Moon ! Yes, it took my several weeks to get familiar with WDC. It was VERY overwhelming at first! I'm so glad you're starting to find your way around A couple really great newbie forums are "The Newbies Academy Group" and "Newbies Academy Registration - OPEN" . You can ask questions and chat with other newbies (and not-so-newbies) over there. We have a few fun activities coming up, and we're always looking for newbies to post their pieces on our review request board so we have new items to review. Additionally, we've started a new service for our Newbies - Review Assistant. One of us can check out your review prior to you submitting to the author to give it a once over and address any concerns you might have: the common thought most newbies have is "what do I know? I can't give an experienced writer any feedback because I'm no new myself." That's not true! And we hope, with our FREE service, to help Newbies become more confident in their abilities to provide feedback, no matter their experience level, skill, or amount of time at WDC. So, if you're interested in any of the above, check us out! I understand what it's like to have a lot going on both online and IRL! Yes, it's important to keep at writing and not neglect you're other responsibilities. It's a balance we all strive for, both succeeding and struggling at different times in our lives. We all do our best and I'm sure you'll find what works for you Write on! -- 1UppyEar ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
