Noticing Newbies

I'm sure you'll be getting some reviews soon! This is definitely the place to get wonderful feedback, as everyone here is friendly and supportive.

As a Newbie, you might want to check out "The Newbies Academy Group"  and "Newbies Academy Registration - OPEN" . Once a member there, you can also post a request for reviews on the review list. In fact, a couple new activities are getting ready to get started over there, and the more pieces we have posted on our review request list, the better! You'll be very likely to receive reviews that way, too.

One of the best ways I've found to get reviews is to WRITE reviews for others. It's a give-and-take community (and, you can earn GPs for reviewing, thus have GPs to offer of as "payment" for receiving reviews). It can be a little nerve wracking to start writing reviews if you haven't done so before, but I can assure you any feedback you have for a writer is highly welcome and warmly received. If you choose to become a member of "The Newbies Academy Group" , we've also started a new service for our Newbies - Review Assistant. One of us can check out your review prior to you submitting to the author to give it a once over and address any concerns you might have: the common thought most newbies have is "what do I know? I can't give an experienced writer any feedback because I'm no new myself." That's not true! And we hope, with our FREE service, to help Newbies become more confident in their abilities to provide feedback, no matter their experience level, skill, or amount of time at WDC.

Aside from that, there's so much to do and read here! It's a lovely community, but can be a bit overwhelming at first. Don't hesitate to ask questions of anyone, publicly or privately. We are all willing to help out - and I find I learn something new here almost daily!
