Noticing Newbies

Hello toridoodle and welcome to WDC!

Congrats on starting the journey to writing a novel! I'm working on my first as well...I can tell you I've learned A LOT since joining WDC and it's been great! I'm definitely further on my path to completing a well-developed and well-written novel

I'm a big steampunk fan! There are several steampunk writers and fans around here (Inkslinger is one I know well!). So definitely take the time to look around and connect with others who share your style of writing and interests!

It can be very overwhelming and confusing here, but I guarantee within a couple weeks you'll get into the swing of things. Please don't hesitate to ask anyone here anything! Everyone is friendly and helpful. You might be interested in checking out a couple really great newbie forums "The Newbies Academy Group"  and "Newbies Academy Registration - OPEN"  where you can chat with other newbies and not-so-newbies (and get some extra newbie benefits, like using the review request form and some of the other great things we are working on!).
