Yeah, I know! Newbies will get a lot of help if they go to "Technical Support".

Here's the thing, though. "Noticing Newbies" is specifically designed to help new members get started, so there will be all kinds of interesting topics for the wondering newbie to glance at while posting their own questions.

I don't know how far down in the Technical Support Guidelines new members will read; but I think it would be helpful to have another bullet under:

For non-technical, writing related support issues, please visit: "Non-Technical Support Forum" 

That reads:

For new member issues, information, and help, please visit: "Noticing Newbies"
