Alright, last week went better than expected. This week, I've got another stage to tackle in book pub prep. Cover art!
I've seen some really awful covers from people who are in the same stages as I am. I mean really just badly designed. Just because it's a first published book doesn't mean it has to look like it! I've already done some research on the options available, and I'm going to use this week to solidify a game-plan. I want to find a service/contest/site that I'm comfortable using, as well as a couple of ideas for the cover itself. My co-author and I have a good idea of what we want, which is a major plus. Now it's just researching the resources and making a decision.
