I'm looking forward to this week! Work is going to flood, writer's meeting is this week, and I still need to push forward in my goals.
My very simple goal now is to write a competent blurb for my finished novel. In reviewing blurbs for books of a similar genre/audience, I've realized that there's a spirit that needs to be present to make it attractive. It has to have some fire in it, some spark and verve! So far I've been so afraid of it that my efforts have been centered on formulas people have made up. This is a good initial start, but now I've got to breathe some life into it!
