Motivate yourself to conquer your goals this week! Post on Monday; update us on Friday! |
Hello! Last Saturday, my mom and I had an extensive discussion about which major I should mainly pursue in the future. In the past, I considered to partake and follow Pharmacist major. However, I learned that I have no interest or passion for math and science, so I decided to switch my major to English major. I was tremendously inspired by my English professor, who has a talent of implying philosophical aspects into her readings. I do not know how this passion for English awoke and transpired within me, but I was firm about my decision for pursuing English major this time. I learned so many valuable lessons from her, in terms of philosophy and English perspective. After my British Literature class today, I stayed and discussed with her about how I wanted to pursue English major, and she explained to me a great deal of information. I also sought for advice from my adviser, which I decided to change my AS plan to AA plan. I felt very relief that I do not have to look at a long list of science and math courses that I have no interest in partaking them. My goals for this week are to learn how to be an active reader, to give more reviews for multiple readings, and to improve my grammatical and vocabulary integrity in my daily conversations with my friends and professors. |
