This place is great! I've found I've learned a lot through reviewing other people's work and I've gotten a lot of great feedback on my own stuff.

Because this place can be confusing and overwhelming, don't hesitate to ask questions. Everyone is supportive, friendly, and helpful! Also, "Invalid Item"  and "Invalid Item"  are two really great newbie forums where you can ask questions and talk with other who are in the same newbie boat as you (and some people who aren't-so-new but like to help out).

I'm a sci-fi fan as well, and working on my first novel, which is kinda sci-fi.
