To have an "official" blog in the WDC Journal/Blog format under Book does require an upgraded membership. However, you can still keep a running blog in a Static item by just editing it and adding a new entry. You will have to insert the date that you enter each entry instead of it being automatic, but that's like a pen-and-paper one anyway. *Wink*
