My daughter is 12 going on 16! And she looks it too!
Anyhow, she is in school fulltime and my husband works on the road a lot so I have no real excuse to not write except for my own laziness typically :)
Over the past few months I have become more serious about finishing a book I started over this past summer and have been trying to get feedback in all the wrong places (family and friends). I have 8 chapters completed and other scenes that do not follow any order so I would not lose my ideas.
I do have a book I had started in high school, but I put that aside because I was unsure where I wanted to go with it then I got the idea for the one I started this summer.
When I joined WDC I knew I would have to review other peoples' work, and I have found that though it not easy I really enjoy doing it. It really takes a lot of finesse to write a review that is constructive and not destructive.
Thanks for the tips! I will definitely check those links out. I am ready to do as much as I can!
