Hi Mark, That was a wonderful and very inspiring introduction. As a counselor, I was taught that you can never understand a person's situation unless you were that person and were in that same situation. So I won't say that I understand you but I do empathize with you. I have worked with people who were/are on wheel chairs and some using crutches, so I have an idea of what you might be thinking about, and I really like your drive. I have told them to do what needs to be done, be if following a certain diet, physiotherapy, exercise, taking medication the doctor prescribed. In short, complying with treatment regimen. I am glad you are doing that despite the pain but that shows me your motivation to get better and your strength. Another things is that I hate calling people "disabled". That's like labelling and I say that nobody is disabled. Such individuals who are labelled may have more to offer the world that others know. Since you have an upgraded membership, I encourage you to set up a blog: "Blog Tab" . You can always email me if you have any questions. It's nice to get to know you. Warmest Regards, Aisha.
