Aloha, From Washington!
by A Non-Existent User
Hello,

My name is Samantha. I am from Hawaii, but now live in the Evergreen state of Washington. Many ask why I Left the sun for clouds. Well, I love the rain...Hence my tag name, "Rhaineeday206!" I do miss home from time to time and I am going back in February after about a 5 year hiatus. It's expensive! My dream as a kid was to be able to hop in a car and take a road trip somewhere, other than around the island. That was our road trip.
I am happy where I am.

I always love to write, but I suffer from writer's block. My friends say I could write a novel whenever I write a biography. I can never do it. I am hoping writing.com will help get my juices flowing. Especially, with it being the New Year and all. It will be one of my New Year's resolution to get good at writing. I would like to be come good at writing poetry.

My favorite hobby is coding. I self taught HTML when it first came out. Currently, I am studying Software Development. I love Japanese anime. Some of my favorites are Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, Sailor Moon, Fairy Tale, Spirited Away, Ponyo, etc. I love Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki films. It puts me in a happy trance. I love to read New York Best Seller Books. Mostly Memoirs and books that narrates from a different perspective, like Mark Haddon's, The Curious Incident of The Dog At Night Time.

That's me in a nut shell.

I look forward to meeting some of you all.

P.S. I forgot to mention the most important things of all...I have been married since 2000 and we have a 9 year old daughter...My husband and I also have a two chiweenies! Their names are Bruths and Portia. Brutus was adopted on our way out of Alaska (when we lived there for about a year and a half). His name used to be mailman, but hubby decided that was not a manly name. We got Portia at our local pet store by our house in Washington. Yes, after Shakespeare! Portia was Brutus' second wife. At first, I wanted to get another male and name him Julius Caesar. Ironically, Brutus does not like other males.
