Noticing Newbies

Hello writing.com, how are you?

I've got to say, it's nice to finally meet you! I'm so glad to be putting myself in an environment where I can grow and learn more about creative writing, as well as receive critiques on my (admittedly poor) first attempts at being a serious writer!

Anyways, if you're interested in being a cool person: please, PLEASE critique my little opening work for a novel idea I'm developing to learn more about writing. It's called 'Blood-soaked Stars', and while it sounds 'sci-fi'y it's not!

Well, I wish I could say a little more, but at the moment it is 3 AM here and i'm a little exhausted. I hope to see guys/girls on the morrow!
