Hi Katya *Smile*

What a terrific introduction. You seem to have found a focus for your talent and I can't wait to see what treasures you'll bring to the site. We are an eclectic group with lots of interests and many ways to share them. I suspect you're going to love it here. Sometimes the most difficult part is just deciding where to start. On the left side of the page, there's a "Things to Do and Read" link which will give you an overview of the various writing challenges available. Several are focused on "newbies" - not from a skill level but just those new to the site. I encourage you to look and try a few. It's a great way to break the ice and it will get your name out there so you can start meeting folks.

Welcome to WDC. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line. I look forward to meeting you.

Best wishes for the New Year!

Ken

*Blush* See, even us old timers make mistakes - this was meant as response to Katya Szewczuk Author Icon, not to Lornda Author Icon post LOL - but seeing as how I've never welcomed Lornda either ... That's my story and I'm sticking to it ROFL
