Motivate yourself to conquer your goals this week! Post on Monday; update us on Friday! |
So, I know I'm late but I just got home after a very long day. It's now 1:00 AM. Today I have poured concrete, wrangled chickens, turkeys, and goats, driven over 200 miles, moved hay bales from one barn to another, waded through mud to pull turnips, gone to birthday dinner for my husband with my parents, wrangled chickens again in the dark with a flashlight, and discussed my 78 year old dad's possession of a pair of red high heeled shoes ... but the only thing I have written is a status update or two and this. I have done a few things this week writing related. I managed to accomplish about 14 or 15 reviews, two or three blog posts, a few comments to others posts and writings, and sign up for the very Wodehouse Challenge. Those are the things I did that other people can see. However, they are not the only things that I did writing related this week. After all, about 90% of writing is in the ideas and planning, the thinking, the dreaming, the staring out the window and wondering afternoon. Yes, even that is writing. I'm working on a few things right now. A couple of novels, a short story or two, and always always revising things as I go along. I didn't make any word count progress on any of them this week, sadly, but I did keep up, for the most part, with my NaNo prep assignments. And I did discuss on of my short stories at length with another group of people. At this point, I'm not even sure what I posted for my goals on Monday. I know it wasn't a list to complete. I'm so over lists. But if there was something specific I included I don't remember now. Hopefully, in something I accomplished since Monday evening, I mentioned whatever it was I said on Monday that I'd do. Happy writing everyone! |
