I find that, as I tried to write a story about my protagonist, I instinctively started writing about my antagonist. So, I have to backup and regroup. I know my antagonist so much better than I know my protagonist, because I have been so focused on why they would do what they are doing.
Anyone else feeling this way? I am needing to sit back and rethink, because while I know my protagonist's motivation for finding the antagonist and taking her down... I don't know much about her back story yet. So, it is something that I am really needing to work on.
For all of those in my position, you are not alone! For all of those in the opposite position, you can do it! (I feel that I always seem to pick a favorite character - my favorite characters are sometimes the ones that are truly evil in the end.)

I am a teacher, and I can say one thing about the profession.
While it is sometimes frustrating, it is never boring.
