Motivate yourself to conquer your goals this week! Post on Monday; update us on Friday! |
Ahead of schedule is a great place to be. Not only have I achieved my goal for the week- I did it ahead of schedule. That's the second time this month! See #2734583 http://www.writing.com/main/forums/item_id/1949474-Weekly-Goals/action/view/mess... No, I did not get to work on the Lit-RPG post for Mandy in the story 'Return'. However, what I did accomplish is far more important- progressing in the process to finish a manuscript for Lesson #8 of Long Ridge Writers Group. More than likely, I will reserve the RPG writing for the weekends. This will give a cool-down period for the lesson project. One awesome part is the word count. As I've mentioned in previous posts- the lesson calls for 2,000 to 3,000 words. Last night I checked the file. After removing all of the 'editing comments and suggestions' I am left with 2,326 words. This gives me plenty of room to maneuver in polishing the piece. My deadline is October 15. Thanks to being ahead of schedule, I have about a month to spend on polishing the script. Yes, I know, it reads like I'm bragging. I can't help myself. I am excited! The novel that this piece is a part of has been in the works for far too long. It is my 'break-in' novel. So, I'm thinking 'finally! It's about time!' |
