IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Beginning tomorrow, Monday, June 16th, THE DAILY SLICE will be going weekly, giving contestants 168 hours to write a horrific story, instead of the previous 24 hours. (Contestants have pointed out they would be able to produce way more horror in a week than in 24 hours, and I can certainly see their point!)

Every ROUND will consist of 4 weeks with a winner each week. At the end of each 'ROUND' a winner will be decided from the winners of each week.

The WEEKLY winner will recieve 3,000 GPs.

The ROUND winner will recieve a 10,000 GP AWARDICON of their choice (or a MERIT BADGE, OR THE GPs).

Although the prompt will ALWAYS BE OPEN, a weekly judge will give a prompt of their choice to inspire 'creative literary juices'. Mwa ha ha ha!!!

RULES:

1. Each 'WEEK' will start at 12:01 am Monday and end at 11:59 pm WDC time Sunday each week.
2. 2,000 word limit.
3. New stories only! Any stories written before that week's 12:01 am 'starting gun' WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
4. We will need at least 5 entries for each week, otherwise those stories will roll over to the next week.

And as an added incentive, 200 GPs will be given to each contestant who enters a story (500 word minimum).
