White lotus
In the sand
Try to hold this
In your hand
Wind blows it
To a far off land
Sweet lotus
Decaying to dust
We know this
Fading is must
So I wrote this
Blatant lust
Like miraculous life
Or stars in supernova
It thrives in the night
In moonlight above you
It fades at the dawning
Of the sun in the morning
To revitalise in darkness
Petals torn apart this
Hurts
Like stone hardened
Thrust through our core
So beautiful not alive anymore
Worst
I hope is almost over
So we can find joy sober
Frollicking through fields of lotus and clover
Cursed
To fade away
Like a memory of yesterday
How the petals sway
In fragile balance
We could preserve them but we haven't the talents
So we must resurrect
Again rejuvinate
When the moonlight intersects
I just pray it's not too late
Withered into slithers
Slivered into splinters
In the moonlight
Take this life and live her
Take your love and give her
All of your might
If the rain don't come quicker
Then we'll be made sicker
Like the lotus we die....
