Noticing Newbies

Thanks so much for the reply, it does clarify some things:)

I really wasn't upset about the 3.5 at all, I was just so curious as to why someone would do that:)) (And yes, there's always room for improvement). The ratings came so fast that it seemed the person didn't actually read any of the stories, so that's another reason I was wondering about it.

I did get reviews already from some really nice people:))) And no, one overactive rater will not deter me from being here. I love this site, I think it's really well-organized, everything works like it's supposed to, and the people are really helpful, encouraging, and honest at the same time (as far the reviews are concerned, I obviously don't know them personally:). Plus, there's ALWAYS something to read and muse over:)
