Noticing Newbies

Hi all, I'm Kate. I live in Texas, I paint and doodle a lot, and read constantly. I haven't written in a while and have just started getting back into it by starting a few different projects. My favorite project involves a demon hunter named Jo who teams up with a demon named Avery, whose help she needs to track down a demon gone rogue who is hell bent on the annihilation of the human race. You know, your basic villain shenanigans. Basically Jo is angry and sarcastic and a little unhinged, as most hunters are, and Avery tends not to say very much but still manages to annoy Jo to no end (usually with a wide shit-eating grin on his face). I have the first chapter posted in my portfolio if anyone is interested, although the story is rated mature due to graphic violence and some very strong language. Just a heads up. I'm excited to get some feedback and meet other writers who write the same kind of fiction that I do.
