Noticing Newbies

Hi guys!

I'm a budding writer hoping to be published and famous (or published and infamous, I'm not particular) someday far, far in the future. For now, I've just finished high school and I'm trying to hone my neglected writing skills while I wait for college to start. Since my writing journey started around six years ago on an online forum that, sadly, shut down, I'm excited beyond belief to find another writing site!

Honestly, I'm quite lazy even when it comes to doing things I love (like writing) so I'd love to take part in competitions and the like to give myself a kick in the behind and make sure I keep writing. (Did you know it's physically possible to do that to yourself? I tried. Interesting sensation...)

I'm a self-proclaimed nerd who likes nothing better than curling up with a book. My other nerdy pursuits include debating, quizzing, being my classes' Hermione Granger and playing around with technology. If all goes my way, I will be a Computer engineering major soon. My non-nerdy pursuits include charming people with my sarcasm, watching movies and attempting biological feats just to see if they're possible.

I don't have a particular writing style or preferred genre as I want to improve by writing different things though I've recently developed a tendency for humor.

So, that's me! I'm excited to be here and hoping to get to know you all!

P.S- I nearly forgot. Actually, I did forget but that's what edit buttons are for. I'm a friend of Cheshire Logic and found this site thanks to her. :)
