Newbie to WdC

Hello all,
My name is Eric Kiser and I just wanted to introduce myself as suggested. Writing has been a life long passion of mine and I recently decided to give it a higher priority. I've been writing for years. Short stories, speeches, lesson plans but mostly lyrics. I sang for a somewhat successful rock group for many years. I've just completed my second book(My first attempt at a novel. The other book is non-fiction) I have posted a few items in my portfolio and would love any and all feedback this group is willing to give.
